AX 2009 was the first con in the United States for Yun Kouga, the manga artist for Loveless, Gestalt, Earthian, Genji and Ren Ai (and character designer for Mobile Suit Gundam 00). She seemed almost overwhelmed at the huge number of fans who turned up to see her, and was even more surprised at the number of BL fans in the audience, asking if we really liked that kind of stuff(!) much to her delight.
I'm thrilled to have her autograph and little neko. This alone was so worth the trip to LA!
