August 2009 was the first time Chris Isaak and Silvertone toured Tulsa. His manager and drummer Kenny have many relatives in Oklahoma and the families showed up en masse to the concert. Tulsa was treated to a very special and unforgettable performance.
Ancient Chris Isaak fans know he has been drawing cartoons of boxers for decades. He was kind enough to demonstrate his unique drawing style for me several times while I gazed lovingly into his sky blue eyes...Oh, damn...I'm married.
