Rikugou is my favorite character in Shounen Onmyouji, and he quite possibly has the nicest head of hair in anime (in my long man hair obsessed opinion). He is tall and quiet, powerful and protective (why can't men look like him?!). He serves without question, loyal and true.

The moment Rikugou sees Kazane passing by in the market he is drawn to her (and realizes she sees him when normal humans cannot). It is a conflicted love not able to mature beyond a single tragic moment of tear drenched tenderness.
